Rangers’ coach admits team under pressure ahead of Shooting Stars clash

Head coach of Enugu Rangers, Imama Amapakabo, has admitted that the players are under pressure to deliver against Shooting Stars.
The Flying Antelopes have maintained the top spot in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) seven times this campaign and host their old rivals this weekend.
“I know the challenge my team is going through right now; at the moment Enugu Rangers are the team to beat. Right now it’s not about tactics alone, every player seem to up their game when they face Enugu Rangers,” Amapakabo told Goal.
“Our players must always realise that they must always maintain a high level performance at all times.
“We can’t afford to believe that the match against 3SC will be an easy game because we had same problem last weekend against Rivers United and before we knew what was happening we were three goals down.
“It’s not more about the team but the players we are going to play against. Most players want to join Rangers, we are the team to beat now so basically every player will up their game against Rangers. That’s a huge pressure on us as a team to deliver but I’m sure that we are capable", he said.
