Nigeria's main opposition party, PDP, has perfected plans to produce the replacement for the current senate president embattled Bukola Saraki should he be removed by the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).
Recall that PDP in a smart deal with Saraki supported him to emerge as senate president while also producing the deputy Senate president.
PDP senators were reported to have met on Monday, 28 of march to effect the said plan.
Part of the grand plan to claim the senate president seat is to have the deputy senate president, Ike Ekweremadu resigning alongside Saraki for an APC a senator from the North-central to emerge as deputy.
Confirming the plot, the chairman, Senate committee on Niger-Delta affairs, senator Peter Nwaboshi said the PDP will produce the next senate president.
