Enugu Rangers are back on top of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) table, after they beat Nasarawa United 2-1 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Friday night.
Bobby Clement, who just completed his three-game ban, headed the home side in front in the 23rd minute. Obinna Nwobodo made it 2-0 after the break, when he punished a defensive mix-up with a fine finish.
Nasarawa pulled one back in the 75th minute, when Seun Sogbeso converted a penalty kick.
The result means Rangers now have 24 points from 12 matches, two points ahead of FC IfeanyiUbah.
