A spokesman for the former world heavyweight champion, Muhammad Ali has confirmed that the boxing legend has been taken to the hospital because of respiratory issue.
He also confirmed that the boxing legend was being treated by doctors as a precaution and his condition has been described as “fair”.
Ali is expected to spend a brief time in hospital.
The 74-year-old was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1984, after quitting boxing.
He was also hospitalized in January 2015, following a severe urinary tract infection.
